Nashville Promise Keepers Prayer Points

As we reflect on Promise Keeper's theme for the 2007 conferences “The Flood,” we are reminded that it is in prayer that walls begin to fall. Acts 16:25-26 tells us that Paul and Silas prayed unto God and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. It is impossible to explain the power and effectiveness of the New Testament Church without reference to prayer.

Prayer has been the vital link of sustaining this movement among men and within the body of Christ. God is calling the church to pray! Will you accept the call?

Prayer is a confession of our dependence on God and our obedience to His word. “By prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Phil 4:6)

Prayer! It is obedience!

Prayer! It builds our faith!

Prayer! It shows our dependence on Almighty God!

Allow the following prayer points to serve as a guide in your personal devotions, share it with your prayer group, or enlisting the entire church congregation to concert in this effort of prayer.
